marine-surveyors.eu was founded in 2008 by Mr. Johan M. Bager and Mr. Johannes Odder, both experienced Master Mariners with a background within the marine surveying industry.
The focus of the company is to provide professional, flexible and cost effective solutions tailored to clients' requirements with particular focus on all kinds of marine related surveys and inspections, Class representation and ship registration.

Johannes Odder graduated as Master Mariner from Fanø Nautical College in 1996.
From 1996 to 2005 he served in the Danish merchant marine on geared and un-geared container vessels, 4 years as Junior- and 5 years as Senior Officer.
From 2005 to 2007 he was employed as Marine Planner/Cargo Coordinator in A.P. Moller-Maersk dealing with stowage of containerised cargo as well as out-of-gauge, break bulk and IMDG cargo.
Since January 2007 Mr. Odder has been working full time as Marine Surveyor and Port Captain.

Johan M. Bager graduated as Master Mariner from Svendborg Nautical College in 1996.
From 1996 to 2008 he served in the Danish merchant marine on both tank- and container vessels, 4 years as Junior- and 8 years as Senior Officer.
Concurrent with his career at sea he studied at Lloyd's Maritime University/North West Kent College, U.K. to become a certified Marine Surveyor and graduated in 2006.
Since January 2008 Mr. Bager has been working full time as Marine Surveyor and Port Captain.
