marine-surveyors.eu ApS was founded in 2008 in Nyborg, Denmark.
The focus of the company was and is to provide professional, flexible and cost effective solutions tailored to clients' requirements with particular focus on all kinds of maritime related surveys and inspections, Class representation and ship registration.
In 2011 the company moved to Svendborg, a maritime capital in Denmark, hosting a cluster of maritime businesses and maritime training facilities.
Also in 2011 our company signed an agreement with the Maritime Authorities of Malta to carry out flag state inspections on board Maltese registered ships calling Danish ports.
A number of authorisations granted by both Danish and foreign authorities has since followed.
The core business today is various types of compliance inspections and vettings as well as on-hire & off-hire surveys and pre-purchase condition surveys. Specialised cargo surveys, such as steel pre-loading surveys, are also a main focus area.
We also act as expert witness in legal disputes in court, where maritime expertise is required.
Our company is a member of Maritime Cluster Funen which presently encompasses 103 companies. The cluster members represent the entire maritime industry e.g. shipyards, ports, shipping companies, equipment manufacturers, consultants and subcontractors.
